K&P raising funds for Dutch trip
WITH Kirkley & Pakefield's U18 youth team setting their sights on a prestigious place in the Haarlem Cup in Holland later this year, a special fundraising event will be held tomorrow (Saturday).
WITH Kirkley & Pakefield's U18 youth team setting their sights on a prestigious place in the Haarlem Cup in Holland later this year, a special fundraising event will be held tomorrow (Saturday).
The K&P clubhouse will host the fundraiser to back the youngsters on their trip to compete in the overseas tournament.
'We have the famous Great Yarmouth Lions 'Racing Pigs' to be viewed by all who fancy a flutter, a tote will be running during the evening along with a disco as families and all ages are most welcome,' a club spokesman said.
Tickets cost �2.50, and are available on the door tomorrow, with the evening of entertainment starting at 7pm.
