K&P midfielder Rob Horton was a soaraway success as he inspired the Royals to a 3-0 home win over Thetford Town.

Horton, who returned to the starting line-up last weekend, produced a man-of-the-match performance at Walmer Road yesterday (Saturday) as K&P moved up two places to tenth in the Thurlow Nunn League table courtesy of this 3-0 win.

And this was the moment that set the victory in motion, when in the 20th minute Horton headed home for K&P’s first goal of the match – as captured by Journal photographer Mick Howes.

Horton later added a second goal, with midfielder Ross Catchpole also on the scoresheeet for Paul Tong’s team in this convincing 3-0 win over Thetford Town, who remain first from bottom in the table.
