THE search for the successor to replace Jon Reynolds at the helm of Kirkley and Pakefield FC could be resolved this weekend.
The Journal understands that the Walmer Road outfit will be holding another committee meeting this evening (Friday) to 'progress' the situation – after Reynolds resigned from his post last week.
'As regards the successor to Jon Reynolds, talks are still ongoing, as we were lucky to have several applicants for the post and it would be extremely foolish to rush into decisions we might regret later,' K&P commercial manager Dave Woodruff told The Journal.
'I can assure everybody that our chairman Bob (Jenkerson) and others are doing their utmost to resolve this as soon as possible.' For the latest news log on to www.lowestoftjournal.co.uk
