K&P continue on the FA Cup trail tomorrow, with a tough trip to St Ives for the first qualifying round tie.

The Cambridgeshire-based side are in fine form, having not lost since their first two games of the season.

And boosting a good record at home, K&P joint bosses Stewart Larter and Jon Reynolds are under no illusions as to the size of the task tomorrow - but it is one they are relishing!

“We are looking forward to it,” Larter told The Journal.

They will have some tough selection dilemmas ahead of them tomorrow, with a fully-fit squad to choose from as Nathan Stone is fit again after being rested in midweek.

And the KP Royals go into the match in fine form themselves, having been buoyed by two good away wins at Hadleigh United (2-0, Stock and Stone) last Saturday and Norwich United (5-2, own goal, Woodcock, Grint and two for Stock) on Tuesday.

If the scores are level after 90 minutes in tomorrow's clash, the match will be replayed on Wednesday night at 8pm. If no replay is required, and the game is settled in 90 minutes, there will be no game midweek next week.

The club will be running a supporters coach to tomorrow's eagerly-awaited game, and commercial manager Dave Woodruff said: “We need to muster all our supporters for this important game, so please try and get there. A super deluxe coach has been arranged and to book your seat, telephone Colin Smith or Stuart Baker on 07780 546 710.

The Royals will be holding their popular pre-match meal for the first time this season on Saturday, October 17 - prior to the game against Histon.

Tickets - which cost £15 per person - are still on sale and to reserve your seat(s) telephone Mr Woodruff on 01502 741588.
