KIRKLEY & Pakefield FC are facing up to another blank week as the wintry conditions take their toll once more.

All Ridgeons League matches scheduled for tomorrow and next week have been postponed today, a league spokesman announced.

So Stewart Larter and Jon Reynolds' men will be missing another two Premier League games as their scheduled away trips to Walsham-le-Willows tomorrow (Saturday) and Dereham Town next Tuesday, January 12 have both been postponed.

This means that K&P have not played since their last 2-1 home win over Norwich United on December 28.

And more frustratingly it has meant that The Royals will not have any competitive matches ahead of their eagerly-awaited FA Vase fourth round encounter against Ridgeons rivals Needham Market next Saturday, January 16.

It also means that another trip to Norfolk has been aborted - as fifth-placed K&P were due to clash with tenth-placed Dereham last Saturday (January 2).

While a final decision is awaited on any Anglian Combination match for K&P Reserves at Walmer Road tomorrow, it was announced today by K&P club officials that all youth games scheduled to be played at Walmer Road this weekend have been postponed following an inspection.
