GET stuck in at Lowestoft & Yarmouth's youth rugby club.

That is the call from the go-ahead Gunton Park club, who are calling on new recruits to the game.

Players of all abilities, boys and girls, are welcomed. Young players are introduced to rugby in three clearly defined stages, referred to as mini-midi rugby, so that players develop the skills and knowledge they need to participate in and enjoy the full game.

Players up to seven years old play non-contact tag rugby, to introduce them to the sport and develop key skills in a safe, competitive environment.

From the age of eight, players are carefully introduced to the contact sport.

Training sessions are held at the club grounds, off Corton Long Lane. Sessions run from 10am on Sunday mornings for everyone up to the age of 13, with additional session on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings for some ages.

For players aged 14 to 17, training sessions are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6.30pm. New players are always welcome.

For existing players, registration is Sunday from 10am to 2pm.

For more information, telephone Michele Garbutt, on 07917 226 402 or visit club's website at www.lowestoftandyarmouthrfc.com
