New league season set to commence

A new Lowestoft and District League football season will kick off this Saturday (September 19).

The opening day Lowestoft and District League – sponsored by Team Lauren Lou Fundraising – fixtures, which kick off at 2pm unless stated otherwise, are:

Division 1 – Beccles Caxton Reserves v Mutford & Wrentham Reserves (D Porter), Earsham Reserves v Carlton Colville Town Reserves (P Bultitude), Kirkley & Pakefield u23’s v Loddon United Reserves (T Wickenden), Norton Athletic Reserves v Hawthorn United (G High), Spexhall H & H v Kirkley & Pakefield ‘B’ (M Oakley), Waveney ‘A’ v Bungay Town ‘A’ (Dip Farm, G Reid).

Division 2 – AFC Waveney v Hawthorn United Reserves (Dip Farm, R Winney), Beccles Town ‘A’ v Spexhall H & H Reserves (C Waugh), Carlton Colville Town ‘A’ v Crusaders (Normanston Park, F Noble), Kessingland v Corton, (11am, T Wickenden), Normanston Magpies v FC Whitehorse (Normanston Park, C Evans), Southwold Town Reserves v AFC Oulton (S Catchpole).
