After reaching their third Suffolk FA junior cup final in five years, Oulton Broad FC are aiming high.

The Lowestoft and District League division one side, managed by Adam Boggis and assistant manager Carl Poppy, will face Bacton United ‘89 in the junior cup final next Tuesday evening (May 9).

The final is due to be played at Colchester United’s Weston Community Homes Stadium, with a 7.30pm kick off next Tuesday, as Broad clash with the Touchline Suffolk & Ipswich Football League side.

However the venue is all dependent on Colchester United not being involved in the end-of-season play-offs – so the outcome for where the final will be played will not be known until around 7.30pm on Saturday evening. If Colchester do make the play-offs then the final will be switched to Leiston FC’s ground, with a 7.30pm kick off. Following Broad’s previous Junior Cup successes of Darren Moore and manager last season Ian Barber – the club is urging supporters to back Broad once more in their latest final tilt.
