IN the season just finished Lowestoft used 29 players in their 56 competitive first team games with the 142 goals scored shared between 20 of them.

There were no ever presents in the side with keeper Andy Reynolds the leading appearance maker with 53 appearances followed by Craig Bussens and Neil Plaskett on 51, Matt Nolan and Adam Smith on 49 and Matthew Halliday on 48.

Five different players reached double figures during the season with Matt Nolan in front on 32, Gary McGee 22, Joe Francis 16, Jamie Godbold 14 and Scott Mitchell on 10.

It was a particularly memorable season for Gary McGee who not only reached the 400 appearance mark but passed the 200 goal mark as well.

Other notable milestones were reached by Jamie Godbold who took his appearances past 450 and Ross King 350.

The Reserves repeated their league and county cup double scoring a massive 166 goals in the process. Chris Bond was the leading appearance maker with 32 games under his belt followed by David Attridge on 29 and Joe Clark on 26.

Clark topped the goalscoring charts with 28 goals followed by Danny Mitchell 16, Bradley Hough 14, Carl Poppy 12, Ross King and Chris Bond 11.

Although the Youth team were the only side not to win their respective championship having to settle for third place they still followed the example of their seniors by being the top scorers in their particular division. Sam Raven proved to be an ideal captain appearing in all 22 games with Mitchell Armstrong and Kyle Baker missing just one game each and Joe Clark, Tom Cole and Gary Foyster two each. Joe Clark topped the scorers list with 21 goals - just two more than strike partner Kyle Baker.

The Under 17 side won their Norfolk & Suffolk League Division despite rarely having a full squad of players. Kyle Baker and Joe Clark were leading appearance makers with 11 games each and they shared the leading scorers position with 20 and 26 goals respectively.

Clark has therefore scored 75 goals in 57 appearances for the reserves, youth team and U17 side in the past season - as well as making his senior bow in the first team towards the end of the campaign.

In their inaugural season, the Under 15 side were double winners after lifting the league championship and Ipswich Open Tournament. They were so close to making it a treble losing their only game of the season in the final of the league cup. Leading appearance makers were Louis Ayers, Jordan Miles and Matthew Wilson with 23 appearances each with Henry George, Reece Borrett, Jamie Burrell, Jordan Smith and Corey Thornton on 22. Nathan Russell was top scorer with 19, one more than Corey Thornton.
