THEY may have been the penultimate team drawn out of the hat, but after all the waiting it is another home tie in the FA Carlsberg Vase fourth round for Lowestoft Town FC.

The Blues will face Witney United, 2-1 conquerors of Buckingham Town in the third round, after the Oxfordshire-based side were visited by the FA Vase trophy last week.

The FTL Futbol Hellenic side are currently third in the Premier Division and The Blanketmen play at the quaintly-named Polythene UK Stadium.

Managed by Andy Lyne, Witney also have a famous fan in local MP and Conservative party leader, David Cameron, who is the club's patron.

For Lowestoft, it is another home draw after Micky Chapman's men defeated Harefield United 2-1 on Saturday.

The draw for the fourth round of the Vase was made at Soho Square. And after a third successive home draw for last season's runners-up and the Ridgeons League leaders, arguably the tie of the round has pitted the holders AFC Fylde (formerly Kirkham & Wesham) were drawn away from home at Needham Market - in a rematch of last season's semi final.

All matches will be played on January 17 as The Blues continue their quest to return to Wembley in May.
