LOWESTOFT Town Reserves followed in the footsteps of their senior first team counterparts to complete their own double.

Kevin Gook's side beat Haverhill Rovers Reserves 2-1 on Saturday afternoon at Diss Town FC to win the 2008/09 Reserve Teams Division Championship.

Craig Lewis volleyed a superb late winner for Lowestoft after Haverhill's Shaun Banham had cancelled out a first half strike by Danny Mitchell.

The victory completed a 48-hour double for Lowestoft Reserves as they had earlier beaten Grundisbugh Reserves 2-1 in Thursday night's Suffolk Senior Reserve Cup Final at Leiston FC.

The Trawler Boy Reserves have therefore ended their competitive season with 33 victories, three draws and just one defeat.
