LOWESTOFT ended their four match tour of Ryman League grounds unbeaten following a 5-0 victory over Redbridge and a 2-2 draw at a fast improving Ware.

The conditions faced by the Blues were in direct contrast to each other this week with Redbridge ground sharing with Barkingside in an old ground badly in need of attention. In the other hand Ware's Woodson Park ground sported excellent off pitch facilities, which would not be out of place at a much higher level.

At Redbridge not only did the Blues score five goals but they were all quite spectacular starting with Scott Mitchell's stunning free kick. Matt Nolan and Dale Cockrill both hit long range strikes whilst Cockrill's first goal and Halliday's header were opportunist efforts.

At Ware, Matt Nolan took his tally for the season to 17 with both goals against the Hertfordshire side.

Tomorrow the Blues face a top of the table clash against second placed Thamesmead Town. The Blues beat the Kent side 2-0 on the opening day of the season with goals from Adam Smith and Gary McGee.

The Reserves recovered from a two goal half time deficit to draw 3-3 with Gorleston Reserves. Lowestoft's come back saw goals coming from Jack Herbert, Chris Sandford and Kyle Baker.

The midweek match against Debenham LC Reserves was postponed due to a frozen pitch. Tomorrow they put return to cup action with an away tie against Braintree Town Reserves in the Chell Trophy.

Last week the Youth team defeated Bungay Town 11-0 with hat tricks from Harley Peek, Joe Clark and Kyle Baker. George Gook and Mitchell Armstrong were also on target. Tuesday evening saw them crash to a 0-5 defeat at Dereham Town.

The U17 team completed a league double over Winterton with a 6-4 victory, Kyle Baker (3), Joe Clark (2) and Joe Marsden the scorers.
