Runcton were bowled out for 122 and although Clint Burkenshaw claimed four for 27 in the Lowestoft reply, the hosts edged past that score to claim a crucial victory.

In Division Three, former Norfolk bowler Ian Slegg starred with the bat as Fakenham claimed a winning draw at Kirkley & Lowestoft Railway.

Slegg hit 79, while Kirkley's Craig Guy collected four for 48.

Joe Larter fired 104no for Division Six leaders Lowestoft A, but they slipped to a surprise three-wicket defeat at bottom club Mundford A.

Elsewhere, in the Lucas Fettes Norfolk League, Kirkley and Lowestoft Railway A lost by seven wickets to Costessey in Division Three, after they were skittled out for 65.

Lowestoft B moved up the table in division five after beating New Buckenham, while Lowestoft C lost by 40 runs to Hemsby A in division eight.
