A FIRST half brace from striker Russell Stock saw Lowestoft Town secure their 11th win from their first 12 Premier Division matches at Crown Meadow against Wisbech Town.

A crowd of 572 saw the Trawler Boys dominate from start to finish with Jamie Godbold adding a third five minutes after half-time and although Anthony Reeve gave the Fenmen a glimmer of hope Ali McKenna completed the scoring in added time to maintain The Blues six-point gap at the top over Wivenhoe Town, who hammered Whitton United 10-0 at Broad Lane.

Dereham Town's impressive start to the season continued as they triumphed 2-1 over Kirkley and Pakefield at Aldiss Park to sit third.

The Magpies played some neat football before midfielder Nicky Howell hammered the ball home to open the scoring on 18 minutes, after being perfectly picked out by Adam Smith.

Kirkley were back on terms minutes later after Justin Fox's cross eluded everyone before hitting the net, but when Olly Willis' run into the box early in the second period saw him up-ended by Jamie Stokeld, Danny Beaumont stepped up to convert from the spot.
