Lowestoft & Yarmouth Under-11s travelled to Holt for the second weekend of their mini festival.

They played five matches and, for the first time, won two of them after playing extremely well and, more importantly, thoroughly enjoying themselves.

Five players scored tries, Zak showed off his scrum-half skills, Georgie tackled strongly, Keegan was close to scoring and tackled strongly and bravely while Ben and Luke were everywhere, making positive runs and tackling well.

Jessie and Troy scored the tries in the opening win after a defeat in the opener. Another narrow defeat against hosts Holt followed, with George scoring, before the best performance of the day against Deeping Dragons saw George score two and Jessie, Troy, Charles and Finley also touching down in a 6-0 win.

The final result was a 6-0 defeat but because of the whole day the boys came off with smiles on their faces.
