THERE was another new face at the Meadow on Tuesday with 19-year-old midfielder Jamie Forshaw joining the Blues after being released by Conference side Ebbsfleet United.
The Norwich based player has been brought up through the Carrow Road and Southend United Youth academies before joining the Kent side during the summer. He came off the bench for his Blues debut in the Championship Manager Cup tie against Tilbury on Tuesday.

Entertaining the cup holders, Tilbury, the Blues had to come from behind before reaching the quarter finals with an odd goal of three victory. Matt Nolan hit both the goals as well as striking the upright to take his goal tally to 23. The Blues reward is an away tie against Division One South side Croydon Athletic on Monday, February 22. Croydon currently sit in second place in their division.
Saturday was a bad day at the office for the Blues who again fell to Ware. The Hertfordshire side were the last side to take points of the Blues when the sides drew 2-2 in December and on Saturday they again outplayed the Blues to inflict only the second league defeat of the season on Lowestoft. Matt Nolan hit both the Blues goals. The Blues have yet to defeat Ware in their four meetings to date.

Tomorrow the Town are on their travels again with a first ever visit to Harlow Town. The Blues defeated the basement side 3-0 in January with goals from Joe Francis, Dale Cockrill and Adam Smith.
The Reserves were still unable to get back into action when their Chell Trophy tie away to Braintree Town Reserves was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. They will be hoping for better luck tomorrow when they are due to entertain Whitton United Reserves in the Ridgeons Reserve League.
A waterlogged pitch also caused the postponement of the Youth team's visit to Bungay Town Youth last week. They were due to visit Norwich United yesterday before meeting Kirkley & Pakefield Youth at Walmer Road next Wednesday.
Joe Clark (2) and Kyle Baker were on target for the Under 17s as they defeated their Gorleston Rangers counterparts 3-0 last Sunday. The Under 15s progressed in the Ipswich Open Tournament with a 9-2 away victory against Needham Market Phoenix. The nine goals were scored by nine different players.
