Norfolk coasted to a nine-wicket win today in their opening Minor Counties Championship game against reigning title holders Lincs at Sleaford. Left hander James Spelman (60) fittingly sealed victory with a classy boundary behind square after anchoring a 126-second wicket stand with in-form skipper Carl Rogers (62).

Norfolk's first Championship win in two seasons never looked in serious doubt after Rogers had joined Spelman at the crease following the early loss of Jonathan Trower (13).
Spinners Chris Brown (4-111) and George Walker (6-121) set up the impressive win after restricting the hosts to 242 all out in their second innings.
The duo's eight wicket burst after tea on day two saw Lincs collapse to 79 all out in their first innings - a Norfolk lead of 100 runs - before early wickets this morning put Rogers' men in total command.
Paul Cook (58) and home skipper Ollie Burford (33) frustrated Norfolk after lunch with a 63-run seventh wicket stand until Walker trapped Burford.
The Swardeston left armer snared Onyon three balls later. Cook went after superb glove work from wicket keeper Stephen Gray - diving forward to grasp at the second attempt after Cook's clip off his legs struck short leg fielder Spelman.
Brett Houston and Charlie Hopkins added a valuable 32 runs for the final wicket - Hopkins flaying Brown for two sixes in the same over - before holing out to sub fielder Harry Bush.
Aaron Onyon trapped Trower for an early second innings breakthrough but Rogers and Spelman survived a hostile spell from the Lincs' quicks before knocking off the required runs with consummate ease after tea.
Norfolk return to Lincolnshire on Sunday for a MCCA Knockout Trophy quarter-final tie at Grantham.
