AFTER overseeing Ipswich's worst ever start to a campaign, Roy Keane has been lengthened to 13/8 (from 5/4) with Sky Bet to see out the season at Portman Road.

The Tractor Boys are now without a win in nine matches and Keane himself admits that he expects the sack if results do not improve. The former Sunderland boss is quoted at 4/9 to leave his post this season.

Sky Bet's football betting spokesman Dale Tempest said: “Results are one thing but the team's performances have been awful and it looks an almost impossible task for Keane to turn Ipswich's season around.”

Sitting second from bottom in the table, Ipswich suffered their worst home defeat in six years in the 4-0 drubbing by Newcastle on Saturday. Sky Bet make them 7/4 for a top-half finish (2/5 bottom-half finish) and 9/2 for relegation.

Sky Bet have also moved Ipswich's season points line down to 57 (under 56.5 points 5/6, over 56.5 points 5/6) from a pre-season quote of 73.
