LIAM Rosenior is desperate to be a Premier League player once again - and he feels those ambitions can be achieved quicker in Ipswich than with current employers Reading.
The 25-year-old right-back, who was unveiled at Portman Road this afternoon, is on a season-long loan deal at Portman Road, but with his Royals contract expiring in the summer it is looking unlikely that he will return to the Madejski Stadium.
Asked if he felt Ipswich were showing more ambition than Reading, Rosenior said: 'I think it would be disrespectful to Reading to say that, but I think their plan is more of a two or three year one whereas Ipswich want to be at the top of the league this season.
'I only have a year left on my contract at Reading and they are cutting back so this move seemed like the perfect fit.'

Rosenior, who has played close to 100 games in the Premier League with Fulham and Reading, added: 'I feel I'm not where I want to be and where I should be as a player. A lot of things have gone against me and I know it's now time to put it right.
'I'm a free agent at the end of the season and hopefully I will still be here with Ipswich if we can get up.'
