LOWESTOFT Town extended their 100pc home Ridgeons League record with victory over a young but game Woodbridge Town side.

Tomorrow the Blues travel down to the Royal Oak looking for a quick double over the struggling Harwich & Parkeston.

The Shrimpers were beaten 3-1 at the Meadow at the beginning of October with goals from Richard Woodrow, Darren Cockrill and Russell Stock.

However, they now have a new manager in place in Mark Morsley who has a proven track record with Needham Market and AFC Sudbury.

Tuesday evening thoughts turn to the Suffolk Premier Cup and a quarter final tie away to Felixstowe & Walton United.

They too have recently changed their manager and will also be looking to avenge a defeat at the Meadow.

The last Saturday in September saw the Seasiders shock the Blues by taking a two goal lead before the Blues hit back with a Darren Cockrill hat trick and further goals from Jamie Godbold and Carl Poppy.

In dreadful conditions at Notcutts Park the clash between the only two unbeaten sides in the Ridgeons Reserve division ended emphatically in Lowestoft Town Reserves favour against Woodbridge Town Reserves 6-0.

Tomorrow the Reserves are also in County Cup action when they entertain Ipswich Athletic Reserves in the Suffolk Senior Reserve Team Cup, kick off at 3pm.

The Youth team had an excellent 4-1 victory in the Eastern Junior Cup defeating Burnham Ramblers at the Meadow.

All the Blues goals came in the first half through Louis Michalski, Brendan Gough, Christy Finch and Jon Lovelock.

They were due to visit Bungay Town Youth last night and next Wednesday entertain Cromer Town Youth at the Meadow.

The U17 side return to action after a fortnight's break with a home league cup tie against Swindells at the Denes High School, kick off 2pm.
