Royals’ reserves lose again - Under-18s win again

PUBLISHED: 07:03 28 April 2017

Kirkley and Pakefield Reserves’ last home match of the season saw them play host to Long Stratton.

Sadly the result went the same way as too many this season with a 3-0 defeat.

They were due to complete their season on Wednesday evening with a visit to championship chasing Harleston Town.

Thurlow Nunn Youth League Eastern Division Champions Kirkley & Pakefield FC U18s completed their league season with an 18th successive league win to make it a 100% record breaking season when beating Great Yarmouth Town 3-1.

The draw for the Thurlow Nunn Youth League play-offs to be played next week saw Kirkley & Pakefield drawn at home to the Central Division winners, either Woodbridge Town or Walsham Le Willows, in the quarter-finals set for either May 2 or 4. The winners are at home the following week against either Dereham Town or Swaffham Town.
