Our 5-0 win at Walsham-le-Willows in the FA Vase last week was a great result.

It was a really good performance. It was a tough game on paper but we scored early on through Hendo (Chris Henderson) and were 3-0 up at half-time.

Our 5-0 win at Walsham-le-Willows in the FA Vase last week was a great result.

It was a really good performance. It was a tough game on paper but we scored early on through Hendo (Chris Henderson) and were 3-0 up at half-time. To be fair, it could have been more.

We went on and won the game in the second half and Woody (Robert Woodcock) made a really good penalty save as well which was the icing on the cake.

It's always nice to score early as it settles everyone down I think. We did change the formation, we basically went three at the back which worked really well with the three lads Ryan de Coteau, Joe Jefford and James Cole. They gave us a really good base to go forward. We played some really good football.

There are few things starting to come together. Russell Stock's getting stronger and we're learning how to play with Russell and he's learning how to play with us now.

Certainly the fourth and fifth goals on Saturday were really well worked. Foxy's (Justin Fox) goal went on the deck through Russell and they were both really good goals.

We've got a hard game in the next round of the Vase against Newmarket but all in all it was a good day.

When you're playing well you always want to have games and when you're on a good run you always want to have games so it was slightly disappointing we didn't get to play our league game against Wroxham on Wednesday as they had an FA Vase replay the night before.

You don't want to get a backlog of games and you don't want to get in a situation Leiston had last year when they were playing three games a week at the end of the season.

We've got some information on Hinckley ahead of our FA Cup game there tomorrow. From what I gather they've made some changes this year and had some players who have stepped up two or three leagues, from the standard we are.

But having said that they're doing fairly well in their league and their manager is well respected in non-league circles.

I think the first 20 minutes are important. If we can get through the first 20 minutes at least level it puts a little bit of doubt in their minds and pressure on them.

We're not going to change the way we play to accommodate them. We'll be wary and respect what they've got but we won't change the way we play because that would be alien to us.

There's a coach of supporters going up and some people are making a weekend of it so we'll be looking for some good support. I think they had around 500 for their last league game so there'll be a good crowd.

That will be important to us as we're not used to playing in front of crowds as big as that except when we played Lowestoft Town last season.

We've just got Robbie Horton missing so we've got pretty much a clean bill of health.
