Kirkley & Pakefield 0, Leiston 0
K&P drew their second successive match 0-0 in the space of four days against championship favourites Leiston.
In a fast and furious end-to-end game, both defences were tested but no goals were conceded. Justin Fox brought out a good save by Leiston's Bligh after only 30 seconds and at the other end James Rowe brought out a brave save by Robert Woodcock.
James Rowe had another chance when in a good position but screwed well wide after a run into the box on 27 minutes.
A scissor kick by Blake Saker just went over the bar with still no goals at the half time break.
On 50 minutes keeper Bligh was on top form with a one-handed save to deny Nathan Stone. Then on 65 minutes keeper Bligh was injured and after a six minute hold up he was replaced by Alan Wagner, who was rarely tested in the final 30 minutes.
Leiston's David Head hit a post from a difficult angle while a Fox free kick, in a good position for Kirkley, finally tested the keeper with five minutes to go.
