Lowestoft Town are 20 points adrift at the foot of the Norfolk Alliance Division One table after suffering their fifth consecutive defeat on Saturday.
They were beaten by nine wickets by Stow at the Denes Oval after being put into bat and making just 115.
Peter Mitchell contributed a battling 38 in 88 balls while Josh McAvoy made 25 but there was little else to write home about as the visiting bowlers kept a firm grip on proceedings. Stow knocked off the runs required in the 21st over with the bowlers having no joy after Tom Brice had taken an early wicket,
Lowestoft will now be hoping to get their campaign up and running when they travel to Mattishall, the side immediately above them in the table, tomorrow (1pm).
Lowestoft A lost Norwich B in Division Five, Chasing 243-6 they got up to 202 before being dismissed with the consistent Arun Nair making 66. It’s Snettisham at home tomorrow.
