Operations manager, Andy Wilson-Sutter, of Waveney Norse's, operational partners of the council, said: “It hasn't taken very long to make a judgement. Matches on all council pitches, Dip Farm, Normanston Park and Beccles are postponed for this coming weekend and representatives of the Saturday and Sunday league's are being contacted directly.

“We will provide regular updates on conditions and remain in direct contact with the leagues. We will be working closely with them to ensure any backlog of games is accommodated when conditions improve.”
