Thirteen Waveney athletes travelled to Norwich for the highly-competitive Norfolk County Sportshall Championships.
Overall it was a very good day for all involved with Joel Burgess finishing his dominant season on the track, adding to his two gold medals in the Suffolk Championship with a gold in the Two Lap in the U13 boys' category, with injury stopping him going for the double in the Four Lap.
Waveney also had gold in the U11 girls' section with Agatha Gouldby winning the Chest Push, Agatha also claimed silver in the Standing Long Jump.
Liam Bridges in the U11 boys won a silver medal in the Speedbounce and in the U13 boys Vaughan Beckham picked up a silver in the Speedbounce and bronze in the shot put with Ben Cone also getting a bronze in the Six Lap.
Next up is the regional championship at the UEA in March with Waveney sending many athletes to compete for Suffolk.
