Wayne Mardle stars at Pot Black

Wayne “Hawaii 501” Mardle came to Pot Black for what turned out to be a fantastic evening’s entertainment earlier this month.
Mardle really got into the spirit of the evening, showcasing his party tricks and taking on several local players. Some of them even managed to beat him although he was often kneeling to throw his darts or blowing the darts out of his mouth!
Last to play was Pot Black regular and well known hustler Peter Baker who straight away came to the oche with a drink for Wayne before he calmly started with 100 and this pattern continued with both players but it was Peter that got the all-important double to take the leg with everyone cheering.
Then came the charity auction with some decent prizes including a signed shirt, picture and darts from local Lowestoft dart professional Peter Wright.
A bingo dart board donated by club employee Ian and signed dart board and signed shirt that Wayne wore on the night were also up for grabs and all the proceeds went to local young boy called Owen who has Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy which means he can’t walk or run. In total £580 was raised so a big thank you must go to everyone who came and donated and supported this worthy cause.
