Weather decimates local sporting scene

FROZEN pitches decimated the sporting scene in Lowestoft and Southwold at the weekend, as all but two football matches survived.

With all Ridgeons League, Anglian Combination and Notley's Lowestoft and District League football matches called off the only two games played were in the League Cup as Waveney Reserves beat Hopton White Hart 6-4 AET and Spexhall beat Tudor 4-2.
