SAINT Felix’s first XI hockey team hit the highs last week with a good 1-0 victory against Norwich School.

In the 13th minute of the game Sophie Whyte scored from a deflection on the left goal post.

Polly Davies must also be commended for her attacking play, on numerous occasions she narrowly missed scoring for a second time.

Special mentions to Emily Rushmere in defence but player of the match goes to her fellow defender Charlotte Keeble who prevented Norwich from making any attacking breaks.

“Charlotte saved our bacon, she had a storming match. But it was great team effort from all and a thoroughly deserved win,” said captain Emily Rushmere.
