WITH Norwich City fans across Lowestoft and Waveney already listing their favourite candidates to take over from Glenn Roeder, following Wednesday's shock announcement, bookmakers Ladbrokes make former City striker Mark Robins the early front runner.
The current Rotherham boss could be tempted to fly in to save the ailing Canaries. The former fans favourite, who notched 20 goals in 68 appearances during a three year spell at the club, is currently working wonders on a shoestring at Millmoor and he could be a good bet.
The smart money could however be on a reunited management team of Aidy Boothroyd and City legend Malky Mackay - who had previously teamed up together at Vicarage Road.
Next in the betting is ex-Watford manager Boothroyd at 6/1, Ian Holloway at 7/1 and Alan Pardew, Darren Ferguson and Gary McAllister all on 8/1.
Ladbrokes spokesman Robin Hutchison said: "Whoever gets the job will need to hit the ground running given the club's slide down the table."
