LEGENDS from yester-year are set to reunite on the football pitch once more in forthcoming weeks on a special tour of north Suffolk and Norfolk.

Stars from Norwich City, Ipswich Town and former Premiership favourites are all due to combine with matches against Gorleston legends, Kirkley and Pakefield legends, Diss Town legends and Dereham Town legends later this year.

And officials from K&P are busily gearing up for the local extravaganza, which will be held at Walmer Road on Sunday, May 15. The game has been organised

by former City winger Dale Gordon,

It’s your chance to see and meet fans’ favourites – including Gordon, Dion Dublin, Iwan Roberts, Dean Ashton, Robert Fleck, Darren Huckerby, Ruel Fox, Chris Sutton, Paul McVeigh, Jeremy Goss, Bryan Gunn, Mike Milligan, Darren Eadie, Rob Newman, Mark Barham, Craig Fleming, Gary Holt, John Wark, Jason

Dozzell, Matt Holland, Russell Osman, Simon Milton, Kevin Horlock, David Johnson and Chris Kiwomya - as well as the likes of former Everton superstar Neville Southall and Ugo Ehiogu, who will make guest appearances.

This assembled squad of players will be in action at the various venues, with the line-ups announced closer to each match.

Tickets for the match at Kirkley are now on sale from the K&P clubhouse – costing £10 for adults and £5 for children/concessions – by calling 01502 513549, from Legends Events on 07545 034 375, or from Red Hot Media in Waterloo Road, Lowestoft, Peek’s Driving School kiosk opposite Lowestoft Railway Station, the Barber Shop in Market Row, Great Yarmouth and Simpson Skoda Garage in Suffolk Road, Great Yarmouth.

Ahead of the main 3pm game between Dale Gordon’s Legends and K&P Legends, a youth tournament for U9, U10, U11 and U12 teams will also take place on the main pitch beforehand.

Youth teams from across the region are being encouraged to enter to take part in this tournament, with more details available from the contacts below, and as well as this there are also various match sponsorship packages available for purchase.

You can be part of the action at Kirkley with two special guest player packages available, costing £300 each, which would allow you to play with the former pros, don a Legends shirt and spend the afternoon with them - from the reception before the game, listen in to the teamtalk, play alomgside them in the game and join them in the bar afterwards.

Associate sponsorship of this game, costing £300, is also available for local businesses. You can give your company the chance to be involved in this match with an associate sponsorship package, which features four tickets for the matchm cold buffet, a bottle of complimentary win, a replica shirt presented after the match, reserved seating during the game in the main stand and a displayed banner or advertising board around the pitch.

Special player sponsorship deals of ANY legend - for all of the four games – are also available. Player sponsorship includes four tickets to each Legends match, half a page advert in the souvenir programme and a signed replica shirt at the end of the tour, all for £200.

A special VIP package, costing £30 per person, is also available to mingle with your footballing heroes on the day. This includes admission to the match, a free programme, entry to the VIP post match party, a complimentary buffet and the opportunity to meet the players - however there are only a handful of spaces available, with places avaiable on a first come, first served basis.

Simpsons SKODA and Motor Caravan Centre in Great Yarmouth are delighted to once again be sponsoring the Dale Gordon’s Legends 2011 tour, which starts on Sunday, April 17, with their opening match against Gorleston Legends at the Emerald Park stadium.
