A night they'll never forget...

NICK and Norah's Infinite Playlist (12) screened this week at the Hollywood Cinema in Lowestoft is a comedy about two people thrown together for one mad night.

Although at first it seems they have nothing in common except for their taste in music the pair's chance encounter leads to a quest to find a legendary band's secret show.

Heartbroken Nick O'Leary (Michael Cera), the only straight band member of The Jerk Offs has been dumped by his girlfriend, Tris (Alexis Dziena). Nick loves indie rock and frequents New York's indie rock scene.

Believing that he can win her back, Nick sends Tris special songs on CDs that he has mixed just for her, but she simply throws them in the bin. Norah Silverberg (Kat Dennings), is Tris' best friend, and retrieves the CDs. She has never met Nick, but the music he loves touches her heart.

When Tris shows up at one of Nick's gigs with her new boyfriend she has no idea that Norah has also turned up with a friend. Norah doesn't want Tris to think that she has no date, so she asks Nick to pretend to be her boyfriend for five minutes and gives him a big kiss.

It is only then that Tris tells Norah that Nick is her ex-boyfriend and now that Norah has Nick, his heartless ex decides that she wants him back.

A night of searching for the band Where's Fluffy will end up with one of these girls winning Nick's love. Will a first date become a life changing romance or will Nick be drawn back to his old love?
