FOLLOWING the success of K Fest, a CD has been produced showcasing some of the local artists that appeared.

In May, over 3,500 was raised for the Big C Appeal, the Macmillan nurses and the James Paget Sandra Chapman Suite, when local bands performed alongside one another at the Fisherman's Wharf, in Lowestoft.

K Fest was held to raise money for the charities and remember the life of local musician Karen Sturgess, who died aged 39 from cancer in June last year.

Now, a number of the bands who performed have joined together one more time to raise more money for The Big C Appeal.

The CD will feature Six Degrees of Separation, Big Red Boat, Nevacain, Not Clever, Harriett Athorn and Emma Lyon, and will be launched at the Fisherman's Wharf on October 17, when three of the acts will perform.

Not Clever will headline the night, with special guests Nevacain and Big Red Boat also on the bill.

Doors open at 7.30pm and entry is free, although donations will be greatly received. The CD will be on sale for 7.
