LOWESTOFT Organ and Keyboard Club are offering people who have never visited the club before a special new year's offer.
Anyone new to the club is invited to attend one professional and one talent evening for free as a taster of what the club has to offer.
This starts on Tuesday> evening as it proudly presents local artist Ivan Cleveland and friends at The Beaconsfield Club, in Lowestoft.
Ivan started playing the piano while in the forces, accompanying a good friend who was a singer. Soon after leaving, he was asked to join a band and went on to play most venues in the area including The Royal Victoria, Hatfield, Ocean Rooms, Gunton Hall, Cliff Hotel and several in Great Yarmouth.
Between the 1950s and 1970s he played at most of the 63 holiday camps and caravan sites between Winterton-On-Sea and Southwold, accompanying the likes of Eve Bridger, Randal Sutton Junior, Olly Dog, Mike Read and one of the Black and White Minstrels.
He is also the longest serving member of Lowestoft Organ and Keyboard Club and has been the chairman since July 2003.
This Tuesday he will take centre stage for an evening that will include a wide variety of popular music for all tastes. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.45pm start. Admission is 4 for visitors and 3.50 for members.
