THE kings of the canvas descend on Lowestoft tomorrow night as All Star Wrestling comes to the Marina Theatre.The American-style programme rolls into town for an evening of grappling action that will finish with a rumble involving a dozen stars from home and abroad.

There will also be a USA versus Great Britain theme to the action as American Disaster Broady Steele - a 6ft 10in globetrotter who won the Superslam British heavyweight title last year - leads the US team.

The current holder of two versions of the world heavyweight crown Germany-based Canadian Joe E Legend, will be in action along with Chad Collyer, a much-travelled star from Indiana. Completing the visiting squad will be Brooklyn Brawler Julio Torres; high flying American Dragon, Bryan Danielson and the battling Barbarian, Karl Kramer.

Sloan, fans' favourite Xtreme, Dean Allmark and East Anglia's Marty Scurll.

On Sunday there will be the latest in a series of special matinee performances from Norfolk entertainer Olly Day. He has been a professional entertainer for over 20 years and will present his afternoon of music and comedy from 3pm.

On Thursday family show Memories are Made of Hits puts on an evening of nostalgia, with a tribute to some of the stars of the 1950s and 1960s, featuring music from such as Judy Garland, Doris Day, Buddy Holly, Matt Monro, Bobby Darin and Dusty Springfield.

Next Friday sees the latest concert in the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra's 2008 residency. A special Here Comes the Classics evening features a host of popular pieces including works by Suppe, Ravel, Mozart, Smetana, Strauss, Dvorak and Elgar, conducted by Nicholas Cleobury and featuring soloist Michael Whight.

Another treat next weekend will be a rare appearance from former Amen Corner lead singer Andy Fairweather Lowe and his band, the Lowe Riders, next Saturday.

Film fans can also look forward to a host of top movies over the summer as Chronicles Of Narnia - The Prince Caspian takes to the big screen on Friday, July 18. Other films include The Incredible Hulk, Mamma Mia, Kung Fu Panda, Sex In The City, Space Chimps and The Mummy - Tomb Of The Dragon.
