THE Seagull Theatre warms up for a new season of shows with a performance from Sorrel Adams on Sunday.

Sorrel will be performing a mixture of standards and show tunes to accompany a cabaret-style evening in the Foyer Bar. Admission is free and the evening starts from 7.30pm.

The following weekend, live shows return to the Pakefield stage when Alan Aykbourn's play Confusions is performed on the Friday and Saturday.

This popular classic British comedy is staged by RM Productions and shows start at 7.30pm. Tickets are 8/6.50.

The theatre has launched a 'friends' scheme called Seagull Nest Eggs. Participants are asked to buy at least one nest egg a month by standing order, priced 2.

The money raised is already helping the theatre provide better facilities for the community, and each nest egg is entered into a regular draw, with cash prizes.
