After a successful performance during the Heritage Open Days in September, a popular choir are looking forward to a very full programme between now and Christmas.

Pakefield Singers' packed schedule includes two concerts with Russell Watson during his UK 'Canzoni d'Amore' tour. The choir then packs in two further concerts, two carol services and two community events to keep them busy up until to Christmas Eve.

A group spokesman said: 'Pakefield Singers were thrilled and delighted to be invited to be Russell Watson's 'backing choir' and look forward to the first concert on October 5 at Snape Maltings concert hall.'

The following weekend the choir is closer to home as on October 13, Pakefield Singers, will be performing at St Peter's Church in Kirkley. Inspirations is a concert which features great moments of sacred music and includes many well-known and much loved pieces. Pakefield Singers will be joined by soprano Jo Westaway, and the concert will be conducted by the choir's Director of Music, Vetta Wise.

Tickets are £10 from Take Note music shop in Grove Road, Lowestoft and on the door.
