A special reunion is being held this Friday at The Zoo on Claremont Pier.
From 9pm until 1am, people will be able to enjoy the return of the original Phunky Flavas.
Phunky Flavas DJ and promoter Lee Durrant said: 'Phunky Flavas launched in 1994 just as bands like the Brand New Heavies, Young Disciples and Jamiroquai were gaining attention, the night drew on raw funk, soul and Latin.
'At its height, sell-out crowds of 300 plus were the norm, it was a storming night with a great, fun loving following.'
Mr Durrant packed his records away in 2001 but was inspired to dust them off after bumping into Phunky Flavas regulars a few months ago.
He added: 'I've always missed those nights. This is a really special reunion.'
