Seagull sing-along night in Pakefield

THE familiar sounds of Chim Chim Cheree and Supercalifragilistic- expialidocious will reverb around Pakefield tomorrow as a family favourite is screened.

The Seagull Theatre is hosting a sing-along Mary Poppins night and there are prizes available for those wanting to dress up for the occasion. It screens at 7.30pm and tickets are �6 or �4 if you turn up in costume.

There will be a chance for more singing on Sunday, but this time there will be a chance to shine alone, as karaoke takes place in the theatre foyer. Sorrel Adams plays the host from 7.30pm. Admission is free.

On Tuesday, Pakefield Middle School pupils put on Pakefield's Got Talent.

Singers, dancers, jugglers, magicians and martial arts experts have been whittled down to the best 15 acts – now they will go head to head before a panel of judges for the accolade of Pakefield's most talented pupil.

Tickets are �3 and �2 and the show starts at 7.30pm.

Nightly, from Thursday to Saturday, February 19, there will be another chance to see the Seagull Rep's highly acclaimed production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged).

The company has been touring the fast-paced parody of the Bard's 37 plays and 154 sonnets around the region, to rave reviews.

Together, Dave Hemsted, Ewa Jaworski and Will Isgrove will be performing at Saint Felix School in Reydon on Wednesday, before concluding their tour at the Seagull. Tickets for this show are �10 and �8.
