A show that recreates the magic of Adele kicks off a jam packed programme of events at the Marina Theatre in Lowestoft in the days ahead.

Someone Like You – The Adele Songbook is an immaculate celebration of one of our generation’s finest singer-songwriters – hits the stage on Friday, February 16 at 7.30pm.

Hand-picked by Adele herself on Graham Norton’s BBC Adele Special, Katie Markham has the show-stopping voice and captivating charisma to deliver all your favourite Adele hits in an enthralling concert performance.

Full price tickets cost £19.50, concessions £18.50, Privilege Card Holders £17.50.

The live entertainment continues as The Grimethorpe Colliery Band perform at 7.30pm on February 17.

Formed in 1917, during the First World War, Grimethorpe Colliery Band is a British institution.

Grimethorpe’s diverse noted concert performances include those at the FIFA World Cup, BAFTA Awards, BBC Proms, Eurovision and London 2012 Olympic Games opening ceremony, together with a wealth of national and international television/radio appearances and professional recordings.

The second film in the theatre’s mini Ealing Comedies series will be shown on the big screen at 2.30pm and 7.30pm on February 19.

Whisky Galore! (U) depicts islanders off the coast of Scotland compete with a stuffy English commander to recover 50,000 cases of whisky from a wrecked cargo vessel.

Next up is Last Flag Flying (15) starring Bryan Cranston, Laurence Fishburne and Steve Carell. The film will be shown at 7.30pm on February 20 and 21 and at 2.30pm on February 22.

The week concludes in style with Cat on a Hot Tin Roof – NT Live (15) on the big screen at 7pm on February 22.

Following his smash hit production of A Streetcar Named Desire, Benedict Andrews’ “thrilling revival” stars Sienna Miller alongside, Jack O’Connell and Colm Meane. All seats £10.
