RETRO covers band The Austin Beats will play three gigs around the region as they compliment their busy Christmas schedule with a trio of public performances.

The band has had the privilege of performing for the film director Richard Curtis, actors Bill Nighy, Kenneth Branagh and Terry Molloy, as well as sharing the stage with comedian James Corden. Now after a busy year of private parties and corporate functions, the quintet will be playing to a public audience.

Next Friday they will be holding a Fabulous Sixties Party Night at Lowestoft Town Football club.

The evening will see The Austin Beats take to the stage with new members Tom Gladwin and Robert Fenn, as they play two hours of hits from the likes of The Beatles, The Kinks and The Rolling Stones.

Tickets are priced at £5 and include a buffet.

The Austin Beats will then be performing at the switch on of the Halesworth Christmas lights, on Saturday, December 5. They will be playing a 90 minute set on the outdoor stage from 5.30pm.

Their final gig of the year will be at The Wherry Hotel's New Years Eve celebrations. The evening, in Oulton Broad, will feature a meal, disco and two sets from the band. For tickets to this event, call 01502 516845.
