More than 800 litres of water will flood the stage at an upcoming production of Singin' in the Rain.
The hit musical will be put on by the B&B Young People’s Theatre Group at The Players Theatre next week for a five-day run.
The water will help depict the most iconic scene, which featured in the original film and saw its star Gene Kelly dance through the rain with an umbrella.
The production will give a platform to many actors, singers and dancers from schools and colleges across Lowestoft and Waveney.
Andrew Groom, one of the show’s directors said: “We are providing a very exciting special effect with the addition of the water. It really is something to behold.”
The show will run from April 3 to 8.
Tickets are £10/£11 for children and concessions, £12/£13 for adults or £35/£41 for a family ticket of two adults and two children.
