A Britain’s Got Talent star is set to perform at Lowestoft’s Marina Theatre this Sunday (November 6).

Popular magician Jamie Raven will bring his show to Lowestoft, just days after hosting a special series of intimate shows at The Magic Circle in London last weekend.

Magician Jamie Raven admits he loves “the sea and being by the coast” as he prepares for his debut show at the Marina Theatre.

He said: “I have never been to Lowestoft before, but I’ve been close with the tour earlier this year.

Also, my Uncle and Aunt run a hotel called The Hare and Barrel in Watton and my best friend and next door neighbour has family who live in Lowestoft and he is always telling me how wonderful it is.

“I love the sea and being by the coast so will make sure I can sneak out during the day to grab an ice cream and take a stroll by the water.”

Having burst onto television screens during the 2015 series of ITV1’s Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) where his performances amazed everyone, Jamie has gone on to headline in The Illusionists at The Shaftesbury Theatre in London’s West End.

“In the show I am trying to cover as many different genres of magic as I can.

“There will be some of the close-up stuff that people may remember from Britain’s Got Talent, I have a couple of grand scale bigger illusions which I love, there is a section specifically on technology, and a lot of the show involves audience participation which always allows for lots of fun when people come up on stage to help me,” he explained.

Jamie’s ambition was always to take his magic to a wider audience and BGT finally gave him that chance.
Now you can see him at Lowestoft’s Marina Theatre for his Jamie Raven live show from 6pm on November 6.
