Entertainment aplenty will be showcased at the Seagull Theatre in Pakefield in the coming weeks.

Strange Fascination Theatre will present two ghost stories by MR James on Friday, November 17, at 7.30pm. ‘A Warning to the Curious’ features a woman looking for a lost crown in a deceptive seaside town. In, ‘Oh, I’ll Whistle and I’ll Come to You My Lad’, Professor Parkins finds incomprehensible confusion on the coast of East Anglia. Two great shows at a bargain price. Tickets £10/£8.

On Saturday, November 18, at 7.30pm, enjoy the complete Gary Numan experience with ‘The Liquid Engineers’ plus support. Always including surprise tracks and with excellent light show, the band takes you to the heart of a Gary Numan concert. With an excellent support band, this show will leave you wanting more. Tickets £7.

On Friday, November 24, at 7.30pm, Open Space Theatre Company present ‘Suddenly last Summer’, by Tennesee Williams. A young man dies under mysterious and possibly sordid circumstances. His mother works strenuously to conceal the truth, and a young girl is caught up in this emotional tale - how can it be resolved? Tickets £11/£9/£6 (unwaged).

Cantors’ Theatre School will present ‘Cantors’ Christmas’ on Saturday, November 25 at 7.30pm. This promises to be a splendid, talent packed variety show for all the family. Tickets £10/£8 (under 12s and OAPs).

On Sunday, November 26 at 7pm, Andy Davis hosts another friendly Karaoke evening in the Seagull foyer bar. New singers always welcomed and enthusiastically supported. Admission free.

From Thursday, November 30 to Saturday, December 2, at 7.30pm, the Seagull Theatre Club presents ‘Self Catering’, a dark comedy of love and survival. Five strangers survive a plane crash on a remote tropical island. Will they survive each other’s company unscathed? Tickets £8.

Looking ahead, the Seagull Christmas show, ‘Ebenezer’ - an adaptation of a Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, runs from Thursday, December 14 until Sunday, December 24 at 6.30pm with weekend matinee performances at 2pm.
