THE Seagull Theatre, in Pakefield, hosts two performances of a popular comedy this weekend.

Richard Melchior's RM Productions company impressed audiences with their interpretation of The Caretaker last year, and now they return with Confusions by Alan Ayckbourn.

The play is true to its title and through a series of farcical misunderstandings weaves an evening's worth of insightful entertainment out of the threads of people and places which are familiar to us all.

Performances are tonight and tomorrow at 7.30pm, and tickets are £8 and £6.50.

Next weekend the theatre hosts something completely different. The Old Time Radio Club presents The Shadow Over Innsmouth next Friday, and David Benson performs as Frankie Howerd next Saturday.
