A popular concert organ and keyboard artist will be performing in Lowestoft next week.

Mike Hall will be appearing at the Lowestoft Organ and Keyboard Club’s latest meeting next Tuesday, March 14 at The Barn, Parkhill Hotel in Oulton.

The performance starts at 7.30pm and admission will be £6.

Mr Hall hails from Grantham and from a very early age he got involved with music as his father played the saxophone. Although Mike started performing with the piano, he quickly moved to the organ when his feet could reach the pedals. After much experience and some excellent teaching, he joined Italian makers Elka in 1978. Mr Hall travels extensively around the UK and has appeared on the BBC. A club spokesman said: “We are looking forward to Mike’s concert as we know we will have a great time listening to an artist with a high reputation and an entertaining personality.”
