The stage is set, the costumes made and the musical numbers perfected as the East Anglian premiere of Legally Blonde opens at the Marina Theatre next week.

Produced and performed by the Lowestoft Players, Legally Blonde tells the story of Elle Woods. She enrolls at Harvard Law School in order to win back her ex-boyfriend Warner Huntington III. But she soon discovers that her knowledge of the law can help others, and she successfully defends exercise queen Brooke Wyndham in a murder trial. With help from her new-found friends Paulette, Emmett and her Chihuahua Bruiser, she learns that it’s so much better to be smart!

This all singing, all dancing romantic comedy is an absolute must for all musical theatre fans – and is not to be missed! The production is also the first time the show has been performed in East Anglia, and is also one of the first productions in the UK after the West End run.

The show starts at the Marina Theatre on Tuesday, June 2 and runs for six performances until Saturday, June 6, nightly at 7.30pm and with a matinee performance on the Saturday at 2.30pm.

■ Tickets are available from the Marina Theatre box office on 01502 533200 or for party bookings of 10 or more, call 01502 770020. For more information on Lowestoft Players visit
