Display team to return with new show

THE Lowestoft Dog Agility Display Team is set to perform at a number of forthcoming events.

During their winter break the team have spruced up their equipment and now they are ready to return for another season of shows across Suffolk, Norfolk and north Essex.

THE Lowestoft Dog Agility Display Team is set to perform at a number of forthcoming events.

During their winter break the team have spruced up their equipment and now they are ready to return for another season of shows across Suffolk, Norfolk and north Essex.

The team has performed for over 40 years and together they have a range of breeds, ages and size of dog, with many of them rescued animals.

Together they put on a packed 30-minute programme of exercises designed to entertain and show off a range of agility and obedience skills. This includes agility races, retrieving articles, weaving poles, novelty heelwork, fly ball the jumping through hoops on fire.

The handlers are experienced and training has been carried out carefully ensuring the safety and happiness of the dogs involved.

Their first display of the year will be at Lowestoft Dog Show, Camps Heath, on May 3. Other appearances include the Grove CP, Warren, Kessingland Primary and Gunton school fetes, Beccles and Lowestoft carnivals, and the Fen Park Friends Summer Fete.
