Stephen Clark stars as Aladdin in the Lowestoft Players' pantomime

ALADDIN flies into the Marina Theatre on his magic carpet tomorrow night as the Lowestoft Players' latest pantomime takes off.

The local theatre group will be extending their proud tradition of pantomimes, with a nine performance run of Aladdin and his Wonderful Lamp.

The local theatre group will be extending their proud tradition of pantomimes, with a nine performance run of Aladdin and his Wonderful Lamp.

Heading the cast of are Stephen Wilson as Widow Twankey, John Marjoram as Wishee Washee and Stephen Clark as Aladdin. Paul Ashby, Lauren Major, Lee Nevill, Liam Gentry, Chris Bowles, Pat Cregan and newcomer Jonny Michell complete the line-up.

The pantomime is set to be a treat for both young and old, with a cast of over 30 singers and dancers, 12 children, music from Mike West and his band, an animated film sequence magic carpet ride and a unique Black Theatre experience.

Aladdin and his Wonderful Lamp will be playing at Lowestoft's Marina Theatre from tomorrow until Sunday, January 31, including four matinees.
