BRUCE James Productions Ltd presents classic edge of the seat drama at the Marina Theatre tonight> and tomorrow.

Intent to Murder, by Leslie Sands, has a plot full of twists and turns with it's events full of excitement and an unexpected climax that skilfully reconciles the audience's sympathies and sense of involvement with a demand for justice.

Leading the cast are Clare McGlinn and Nick Barclay. Clare, who plays Janet Preston, played Charlie Ramsden in Coronation Street for two years and Sgt Natalie Metcalf in BBC's The Cops.

Alongside her is Nick Barclay, who previously enjoyed great acclaim as the psychopathic mummy's boy Charles Bruno in Strangers on a Train.

Performances are tonight and tomorrow at 7.30pm, with a special matinee performance at 2.30pm tomorrow.

This Sunday the award winning hit movie Mamma Mia! returns to the Marina big screen as part of a number of extra performances scheduled following the films enormous success.

Meryl Streep leads an all-star cast in the musical, which brings the timeless lyrics and melodies of iconic super group Abba to the big screen. The extra screenings take place at 4pm and 7.30pm on Sunday and at 2.30pm and 7.30pm this Tuesday and Wednesday, followed by a special final showing on Saturday, September 20 which will include a fancy dress competition.

Just a few seats remain for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra's penultimate concert in its 2008 series next Friday> as Stephen Bell conducts a spectacular Tchaikovsky Gala. Featuring international soloist Tasmin Waley Cohen, the programme includes the composer's Violin Concerto, Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture, The Waltz of the Flowers from the Nutcracker and the Sleeping Beauty Suite.
